Meet the new Director of TARA
Pascal Fautrat, Founder and Director of TARA who dedicated 13 years of his life to the programs has decided to retire from his role of Director after much introspection. Our Deputy Director Caroline aka Basanti accepted to take over the position, starting from 1st January. As Pascal and Basanti have been working together for many years now, the transition is happening smoothly and positively. Pascal wishes to join the Administrative Council of CHAYA France and shall visit TARA very regularly to keep leading the team and stay in touch with the children who are very close to his heart.
We invite you to visit our website to read the combined testimony of Pascal and Basanti.

Ambassador's visit to TARA
What a nice surprise it was for the children to welcome the new French Ambassador, His Excellency Emmanuel Lenain for Diwali celebration. During his speech, the ambassador congratulated the entire team for the work accomplished so far.
TARA Boys presented their play. The spectators bursted out of laughter upon seeing variety of the characters: a gorilla, a superhero, a banana and even a zombie. What an overflowing imagination in our boys!

The Boys also had the great pleasure of welcoming the Secretary of State to the Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Ms. Brune Poirson. The children were very impressed that a former volunteer now holds such a respectable position in France. She is an epitome of inspiration for our young boys!

Last June, Faisal and Faiz went on vacation for a few days to their mom's place and never returned. Dismayed but determined, the whole team of TARA Boys left no stone unturned to bring the two boys back, safe and sound.
Thus, began a 4-month struggle which eventually won us the support of the highest courts and saved the children. Traumatized yet relieved to be at home, the two brothers have starting attending the school again and their life is slowly returning to normal. Hats off to the team, their persistence also led to a change in jurisprudence!

Four new faces among the Tots
At TARA Tots, it is common to see a 4 year old being the leader among the other children. The newcomer Roohi, is one of the youngest and yet seems to have settled perfectly in the House. Lakshita, Arisha and Asmita have adapted quickly to the routine and gratify the team with their sweetest smiles.

Regardless of their age, when the Santa entered TARA, all the children welcomed him with great excitement and joy!
Every child was eagerly waiting to receive their gift from Santa. His presence made the atmosphere delightful, not only for the kids but for the adults as well. |
